I am so moved that Coach K would take the time to teach me about the fundamentals of Life. “Beyond Basketball” is so thoughtful and smart. I work as a janitor and I always think of what “Pride” means to me. But the most moving, most endearing moment for me was when I was approaching the end of the book, and as I drew closer to the last pages, I felt that Coach had put ME in his huddle. I felt him talking to me and, of course, looking at me. I felt his love and I knew, deep down inside, that he really CARED about my growth as a human being. Thank you so much Mike for putting me in your classroom and, most of all, reminding me to always try my best,
