I have been watching – and loudly cheering for – the Blue Devils for as long as I can remember. What made me become a Duke fan?? The inspiring coach. My husband and I are HUGE basketball freaks. We coach high school girls, play basketball ourselves, and share the love of the game with our 2 daughters. I have read (and re-read) all of coach K’s books, and so has my husband. We try to instill some of the life principles with our teams as Coach K teaches his players. It’s not only about the game of basketball, however exciting it may be. You can learn so much about life and teach young kids about life while teaching them the game of basketball. That’s what Coach K does. Thanks for your love of the game, but more importantly the love for your players and the role models they can become.
