As you know Itry to attend every clinic I can depending on my wife’s finances! Seriously, please tell Coach that his work (ministry) in basketball has not fallen on deaf ears. I too coach basketball at a smaller scale but use a lot of tactics and saying taught by Coach. For example, one year a question was asked of “How do you deal with the kid that has great talent, leads team in scoring etc?” Coach answered with ” I tell him to look at all of the retired jerseys, championship banners and then look into their eyes telling them that I don’t need them”. This is just the exact things some “superstars” need to hear. I tell my up and rising son Gregory these very things and he claims that it’s his passion. We’ll see!
But in all I think Coach gives it straight! To the point and his success shows it! So I too make this my Ministry!
